The children's laughter sang

I'm listening to a new summer mix from my great friend, Meg. Thank you, Meg. I love it.

This is going to be a short post. I just wanted to give a shout out to my good buddy, Chris, in Japan. He gave me the book, "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers, maybe a year or more ago. It sat on my shelf for months and months...every once in a while I'd pick it up in an attempt to delve. I couldn't get into it for the longest time. But NOW! Now I'm 2 days in and halfway through. I probably would have finished it by now if I had no other duties in life. So Chris.....thank you. I love it. The timing is perfect. Now I'm really able to enjoy and learn from this book.

Hope this finds everyone well.....

  1. You will have to read her Mark of the Lion series too. I read them all three in a row because I couldn't wait to find out what came next!

  2. So remember Tuesday when I was talking on the phone with you and walking into the apartment with the boys.....ya, that was the last time I used my keys. They got me into the apartment and then vanished. Like a fart in the wind. Two days later, still no sign of em. This is bad.

  3. Heather! Glad your planning is going well. There really is a TON to do...even if you have a small wedding like we did, it is no less headaches. Flowers are flowers and cakes are cakes no matter how many people you celebrate with! I would love to see your dress!! My Nate is now a Dr.! He passed his dissertation defense Wed. We are moving to SC next week where he got a professorship. Are you wanting any elementary position in LPS? Any leads?

  4. Oh darling, you are so very welcome :) Your friend Eva is SO right, Mark of the Lion series is the bomb.com! I LOVED it! Very sexy without sex, does that make sense? Hmmmm...
Francine Rivers, if you didn't already know, used to write racy, trashy romance novels, then became a Christian and gave up that art for a higher one of writing actually good Christian literature (romances for the most part). I think she's great. Let me know about Redeeming Love, I think I'd really enjoy it.
    LOVE YOU
